I don't think you can say that they no longer feel welcome. EVERYONE is welcome here. We don't yank the welcome mat out from under you unless you're being naughty.
I think it's more a matter of intolerance. They can't handle the heat and feel they can't participate. That's fine. We don't force anyone to be here.
But you can't say they aren't welcome.
