Two things are to be noted:

#1 I have seen God's hand in each one as lives have been changed and miracles have happened in differing degrees.

#2 I have seen man's hand in it as well, as weird things have taken place and leaders have fallen.

Also, NO "revival/move of the Spirit" has lasted much more than a couple of years and maybe 3. There may have been an exception or two, but I can't think of any right now. This includes the "people of the name" who have been claiming the "right" to revival for decades as well due the truth of the oneness of God.

What "move of God" am I looking for? The move I am looking for is a changed life. One who was delivered from darkness and is now walking in light. Healings are a part of that, but those are not the things I am seeking. I want the Healer to show up more than I want the healings. I don't want a flash in the pan, blow in, blow up, and blow out "revival" that only becomes a memory.

Call me whatever you want, but I'll be guilty of desiring one more lost sheep coming home, over and over and over. If God sovereignly moves with His hand and Spirit I will rejoice along with everyone else. I certainly don't want to be guilty of hindering God's move in any way, but I am not so hungry for a "move" that I'll swallow anything that comes along.

Regarding Todd Bentley, he's a nut case who never should have come to the forefront. Someone should have stopped his foolishness early on. Extreme hunger can cause you to ingest unhealthy things. That being the case, God did still move in those meetings and people were touched for no other reason than the Great Shepherd loves His sheep!

Anyway, that's my take on it.

Excellent post......thanks for your insight!
