Happy New Year!

...on the Jewish calendar, that is.

Today is Rosh Hashanah. Here's a post on the subject from the Deep Waters section.

While Rosh Hashanah celebrates the Jewish New Year (agricultural, not biblical...), it also celebrates the biblical appointed time known as the Festival of Trumpets.

Whether you're a pre-trib adherent or not, the Festival of Trumpets is a sonic reminder for New Testament believers of the soon return of our Messiah Yeshua, the LORD Jesus. May He come quickly!

Tekiah! (Single trumpet blast)
Shevarim! (Triple trumpet blast)
Teruah! (Nine staccato blasts)
Tekiah Ha-gadol! (Triple tekiah)

As we usher in the Jewish year of 5769, may your New Year be sweet and filled with enough blessings to help you occupy until we behold the return of
The Master, The LORD Yeshua, as He returns for you, His Bride. As you read this, may The LORD equip you in this New Year to bring Apostolic Messianic Truth to the Jewish people.

May The Book of Life find your name listed first.

L'shanah tova!
