1... how does this refelect on mccain/pallin? Are they responsible to hear every such remark made at a rally, and rebuke the person?
2... Why are you making it seem like racists are only in the Republican party and not the Democratic party? Do you not know that some racists vote Republican and some vote Democrat? Do you not know some democrats have said they will cross over and vote for the other party because they cant vote for a black man?
Why are you not as disturbed by racism among Democrats as among Republicans?
What.. you didnt know it existed? Ok. Take a look:

1) It doesn't reflect on McCain/Palin if they squash that kind of stuff before it gets out of hand. Maybe not every remark, but if the tv cameras can pick up the remark, that candidate can probably hear the remark.
2) I'm not saying that racists are only in the Republican party. But, as a Black man, if I was a Democrat watching what I saw, reading what I have read, it would do little to encourage me to consider becoming a Republican.
What I saw today reminded me of stuff I had only heard about, read about in history.
I know about the Dixie-crats of history. I know some of the most "progressive" folks who call themselves Democrats who are "progressive" for aevery one else until it comes down to their neighborhoods, their school, their dinner table.
What I saw rattled me and so I posted a thread about it.
The video you posted reflects the minds of many folks-- but these good folks were not spouting anything violent or hateful. I wasn't put off by any of it at all.
