I also loved my "creepy crawler" and "fun flowers" maker!! you could get huge burns from those!! BUT....that never seemed to matter!
How bout making tents out of sheets over the clothline in the backyard. Camping out until you got scared, or the skeeters chased you in!!!

I do remember camping. But that is one of those things I will put in the other thread - the thread for hated things.
We used to take sheets and blankets and make a tent out of our kitchen table on rainy days. That was fun.
One of my favorite things to do was to sit on my bottom at the top of our carpeted stairs and bump, bump, bump all the way down. And then when I got just a little older and braver, it was even more fun to lay down on our tummys and go down head first. Drove my mom crazy. She was so afraid we'd get hurt. Imagine that!
