Gene Edwards doesn't feel that there should be any pastor, or evangelist over any group of believers, he also doesn't believe that there should be tithal support of the ministry. Someone from Gene Edwards' following (if they stayed amongst your group) would make haste in trying to relieve you of your position.
Thank you, but I wouldn't be working on a coup d'etat to remove you or your other pastors from their position. Unlike I, the followers of Gene Edwards would be real busy to see "true Biblical ministry restored in your congregation.

The point is, EB, if someone can come in and tear up the church I pastor that quickly or easily, then I have done a sorry job as a shepherd. The last thing I do is operate out of fear. I've seen more than one person come in and try to change us. It is amazing what happens when I don't attack them or make reference to them from the pulpit. People really are smarter than most give them credit for. I don't fear errant doctrines.
