I was raised Missionary Baptist....
week long revivals, the men would go outside to smoke, and lean in the windows to hear the preacher.....
watching my grandmother "get happy" as she called it, couldnt call it shockamoo in the Baptist CHURCH!!!
going to the morning services as well as night....
remembering how happy my mom was that I got saved....
life was simpler...
life was secure...
I felt I would fullfill ALL the dreams I had....
There was nothing like playing hard all day, mom having a big wonderful supper, watching Bugs Bunny, a bath, then crawling between freshly washed and sun-dried sheets, and knowing that all was well....Jesus kept us even when we didnt know it...
