I'm not clear on this post.

Is this the same person PraiseHymn is referring to who's funeral was at night on the 26th?

If so, no disrespect for the deceased or his family is being offered up.

But the idea of an 'offering' being taken up DURING the service is just plain out of place; e.g. wrong.

We have taken up many offerings for family members of those who have passed this life and it was never during the memorial or funeral.
