That pilot did an amazing job of making the best of a very difficult situation! I have flown out of LGA many times, and it's always a weird feeling to me to make that sharp curve and fly out over the water. It's such a miracle that everyone is ok.

I just finished reading last week a Christian novel called "The Seat Beside Me" about this very kind of plane crash, where the plane ended up in a river. It was so realistic and I had to fly the next day after I read it!! But in the book, only five people survived. It was very thought provoking. That's the first thing I thought of when Eddie told me it was on the news today!
