Bro. and Sis. Alvear and their work in Brazil have been on my regular prayer list for some time now. So has Trib (anybody remember him?). I pray for him and Cindy, their kids, and their ministry. Two more on here that I have been praying for are Keith and Ron, their ministries and the churches where they are working. I also pray for Timmy because I think he's a good kid who has questions/concerns and is not afraid to express them. I also pray for Dan Alicea pretty often.
I have a list of ministers, missionaries, churches, ministries, groups that I pray for on a regular basis. One of my prayers is based on
Acts 16:5 ever since that verse jumped out at me while I was praying and reading The Living Bible quite a few years ago. In that version it says, "So the church grew daily in faith and numbers." Based on that I pray for churches to grow, both in numbers and for the members to grow spiritually. I pray for church growth --both in quantity and quality.
