Re: Praise report!!! Tumors dead!!!!

Recent report on Bro. Willoughby's church webpage:

I Shall Not Die, But Live
Tuesday 3rd February 2009

Dear Friends

'I Shall Not Die, But Live'

The power of declaration. I was an eyewitness to the power of declaration on Wednesday, 21 January 2009 when Bishop Steve Willoughby stood up on the second day of the 'Because of the Times' Conference in Alexandria, Louisiana and declared that 'he shall not die, but live.' It is a declaration that many of you have been proclaiming and interceding for
since we learned of his illness.

On Monday, 2 February 2009, Bro Willoughby returned to Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York to undergo tests to determine how well his body was responding to the radiotherapy and chemotherapy
treatments. After an additional test today, Tuesday, 3 February, Bro Willoughby was seen by the radiation oncologist and the medical oncologist.

Bro Willoughby was informed of the following:

1). The small brain tumour has decreased in size considerably.
2). The large brain tumour has also shrunk in size.
3). No additional tumours were found in his brain.
4). Blood is still present on the brain.
5). Five small spots were found on his stomach. These spots have not been
confirmed to be malignant as a biopsy has not been carried out.

The radiation oncologist was surprised and pleased with the MRI results because she informed that 80 percent of patients with a similar presentation like Bro Willoughby's had new tumours appear after 2 months.
She explained that it is unknown whether the symptoms of dizziness and numbness which Bro Willoughby have been experiencing will be permanent or eventually go away. Bro Willoughby has started a second round of chemotherapy and he has now been cleared to return to Singapore. He will depart the US on Tuesday, 10 February and arrive into Singapore on Wednesday, 11 February.

We are extremely thankful for what God has done and is doing. We are also grateful for you who have stood in the gap and prayed not only for the Willoughbys but also for Tabernacle of Joy. The battle is not yet over but we shall 'declare the works of the Lord.'

Please join us in praying:

- That the blood on the brain will settle and that the symptoms that Bro Willoughby has been experiencing will cease - no more dizziness and numbness.
- That both brain tumours will die.
- No additional spots or any other malignancies will take root in his body.
- For a smooth and uncomplicated journey to Singapore.

Resting in His Promises
