The problem is not with signs and wonders....it is what too many "evangelists" do with the signs and wonders they proclaim to have witnessed. Too many times it seems that the most important use is to further their ministry or speaking engagements.
I believe that I have had an angelic encounter once in my life. (other than my wife!) I have shared that experience maybe a dozen times in the past 15yrs since it happened. It was powerful and profound. I can't prove they were angels, but they were certainly sent "ones" from God!
I have never bought into the "holy tooth fillings" gold flakes/dust, gems on the carpet, oil on the hands, angel feathers etc. If I see it, that is one thing, but there is so much wackiness going on in apostolica/pentecostalism that it makes it difficult for me to swallow this stuff.
I've heard folks talk about it, but I've never seen it. Truth is, I really don't even care about that stuff. The greatest miracle, IMO, is when a sinner gives their life to Jesus Christ!! Everything else is just icing on the cake! I'll take it all, but the most important thing is salvation!!
