Jeff,
I assume you are homosexual and I will not judge you, nor will I say you are not welcome in my church, but to change the word of God to suit your lifestyle is not an option. Your option is to repent, accept God's forgiveness, and walk in the newness of life.
I have, and have had, many friends who were, or are homosexuals and I love them dearly and wish I could help them with the pain they feel - it is not unlike the pain I feel over some of the things I struggle with.
Like Paul who had a thorn in his flesh God would not heal him of...God declares that his
grace is sufficient. That means for me, for you, and all those who struggle with 'issues' that God does not deliver them from.
