In regards to eliminating debt, you did not give a good reason to do so.

May I suggest that the purchase of a farm and some first class equipment might be the thing to do.

Why? Take the economy in Germany in 1923 as an example. Wouldn't it have been great to have purchased those things on credit in 1919 and pay for them in four years later by collecting the money thrown out on the streets?

In the case of hyperinflation, which may very well be what we are facing, it would be a lot easier to pay off contracts with devalued money rather than money that held its value in a stable economy. After the economy is stabilized, you would then have a nice farm some slightly used equipment all paid for by worthless currency.
