criminals always have more rights than the rest of us
they need sympathy. they can not help what they do because their parents abused them and made them do things as kids that NO ONE else ever had happen to them
for this cause we must be gentle with them, give them a chance to prove they are not as bad as everyone thinks they are because of the horrible things their up bringing caused them to do.
