I believe it goes back to laziness, to lazy to pray, to lazy to really seek God.

Remember, we are promised a sound mind, a right mind, and a peace that we world cannot give.

I don't believe in lunatick christians.

As for meds, what I preach from the pulpit is there is a difference in taking something for your phyiscal body and taking something for your spirit.

Ex. Anti-depressants are in place of what God promised, specifically a sound mind and peace. It is basically medicine for your soul, to put a band-aid on your problems, not unlike alchohol. Where as, if you ate mexican food, and the fajitas don't sit right, if you take a teaspoon of pepto, you haven't sinned. It is a natural reaction, and that medicaine, can help you, without affecting your mental abililities.

Basically, I'm not against taking medicine for common problems we all will have, whihc is part of being in flesh-a headache, a stomachache, cold or flu symptoms, using neosporin on a cut, etc.

I am against anything that has to do with the mind, and also don't believe Christians should take sleep aids (with the exception of nyquil or something when you have the flu-but not on a regular basis.)

So, I'm don't preach against tylenol or rolaids, but certainly against zoloft, paxil, etc.
So anything that has a side effect of "may cause drowsiness" is ok, but anything taken for the specific EFFECT of drowsiness (aka, sleep aid) is not?
