You were definitely never hit or you would have leaped to your feet and testified about the experience!
We used to take the small paper clips, straighten them out, break them into pieces, and then shape the pieces into perfect projectiles. Once the pieces were properly shaped we would wrap the paper around them and have perfect missiles that would tumble like an m-16 bullet and hurt almost as bad when they hit you!
