By screaming in tongues, are you referring to situations where there is chaos and confusion? Or is someone praying loudly, including with tongues, at an appropriate time? I've been there were in was quiet in the church, a peaceful Spirit was set in and the attention-seekers began to wail in tongues as loudly as they could. The pastor got up and instructed them to stop! This would be clearly out of order. There should not be a cessation of tongues in public worship, but it must be done "decently and in order."

I am talking about any time someone prays out loud over everyone in tongues - to me that is very distracting and that is what my husband points out is not biblical and according to Paul it seems he is correct and also another thing when someone is praying for you and screaming at you speaking in tongues - to me that is very distracting and just doesn't seem biblical.
