Yeah, say it's a gift. Nothing else God does works that way. There's always a give and a take, so what is it here?

2. What is gibberish to you, is known to God.
3. With the Holy Ghost comes power to witness and realization that He can control the tongue, most unruly member of body.
4. Benefit - just a down-payment of things to come.
5. The more truth revealed, the more responsibility to reflect that truth to the world. To whom much is given, much is required.

Not trying to convince you one way or the other - but I was there when it happened to me!!!! Faith is not always logical, probably hardly ever logical - it appears you're trying to find the logic to receiving the Holy Ghost - just my 2 cents worth!
