I didn't grow up in a pastor's home. We had television from the time I was 6 so it was never a big deal.
I had a friend whose dad wasn't saved. They had a television, but she wouldn't watch it - no way! It was quite strongly preached against at that time and by that particular pastor. I was always amazed at how disciplined and conscientious she was about that because for me it was such a non-issue.  |
My wife was that way growing up.
Her whole family was undaved, and they took it very personal that she wouldn't watch tv with them.
her dad would make her stay in the living room, so she would turn her chair around a read a book.
