Excuse me? Don't patronize me. I did not mis-read your post. You clearly said
Jesus was crucified at the third hour of the day . Yet in John he was still in Pilate's court on the 6th hour. Which in Luke was also the start of the "time of darkness" which John missed altogether in his version. So I was asking you, since you claim to be a scholar, which was correct. Because the stories appear to contradict.
The point is, had you used the book of John, your story would have fallen a bit flat. The timeline does not match the other versions. And they are just versions aren't they..

You are correct. He stood in judgment early. This was the process of Him going to the cross. Then, darkness set in until the NINTH hour. I regret not making this clearer. It's clear that my post was too short to be considered as a scholarly thesis. However, I do think it's nice that you consider me a "scholar of Scripture."
