God doesn't have needs. God doesn't need man to provide him anything. God doesn't need man. Truth is... man needs God. Without God man is hopelessly lost to live in deep sorrow and despair. It is God, because of his infinite love, who chose to form a relationship with man for man's well being. It is God, because of his infinite love, who chose to give us commandments to live by that bring peace, joy, and happiness. It is God, who because of his infinite love, who chose to come to earth and die in every man's place to set us free from the bondage of sin and to offer eternal hope to all humanity. It isn't a "religion" of man that holds that God's purpose is to fix things... it is God, because of his infinite love, who plans to one day "make all things new".
