I agree. There's also a big difference in the understanding or 'revelation' that comes to someone who was raised in it versus someone who wasn't.
I think this is the reason why so many people raised in it leave later on. Rarely ever will you find someone who got 'into church' as an adult that leaves years later to live a life of sin once again.
I've never had a 'revelation' of God. I was raised this way, therefore, I believe. It's simple to me, and it's difficult for me to understand why people need a 'revelation'.
Then again, those that need that revelation cannot understand why I see it as being so simple to understand. Well, I was raised this way, that's why.
