China won't be calling the USA debt anytime soon, because without America buying her goods she collapse. So, if China calls our debt and we collapse, China get the double whammy of the lost of it biggest market and our debt payments.
The last thing China wants is her masses of people out of work!!
But you are right we are not doing well, the world economy is actually in danger.
