Nona B. Freeman's Funeral Today

Today, Tuesday, Jan 5, 2010. I attended one of the most beautiful Memorial/Funeral
Services I believe I have ever attended!

Program:

Rev. Gerald McGaha, Section 7 Presbyter, officiated.

Prayer and comments by Rev. C. M. Becton.

Obituary and testimony by son in law, Rev. Brian Orffer.

Rev. Murrell Ewing made comments and sang. "I Must Be Home Now".

Rev. Jannie (Onnie) Smith, General Supt., South Africa, gave testimony and
made comments.

Rev. Ronald Hendricks, sang "Hold ME".

Rev. Jerry Eastridge, Sis. Freeman's brother, spoke of their mother and his
sister, Nona.

Orion T. Gleason, son in law, sang "Down From His Glory".

Rev. Jerry Richardson, Regional Director, Africa, spoke.

Sis. Nancy Grandquist played and sang "Great Is Thy Faithfulness.

Rev. Bruce Howell, General Foreign Missions Director, spoke.

Message by Rev. T.F. Tenney.

Sis. Mickey Mangun led the congregation in a song, "Blessed Be The Name
Of The Lord"

Bro. David K. Bernard, General Supt. of the UPCI, was not on the program
and due to some important meetings, was not sure he would get to come.
Pulled some strings and was able to be there. He made some comments and
introduced Bro.T.F. Tenney.

Everything was just so right and the sweet Presence of the Lord was there
in such a beautiful way. I am so glad I was able to be there!!!

Blessings,
