I have heard it taught in at least two, and it was referred to in private conversations between saints or between the pastor and saints in another. May depend on the area... it isn't a lib/mod/cons thing, because these were three different "grades". But it doesn't work if used that way. One of the men that preached it was raised UPC and his brother (also raised UPC) went Lutheran (or some similar denomination)-pastors a denominal church!! Never did figure out how he justified his family example with that verse.
