Did Jesus bless the slavery and killing of the native population by Christopher Columbus?
Did Jesus bless the idea of Manifest Destiny? that this huge country was given by God to white Europeans who were to commit ethnic cleansing and genocide against the native population?
Did Jesus bless
the countless broken treaties by the U.S. government;
the slaughter of whole tribes including women and children;
the distribution of disease ridden blankets;
the fortunes made by business men and Indian Agents selling rotton and inedible food to the Native Americans;
and
the children torn from families and sent to far away "Christian" schools where their language, customs, and hair were taken away from them?
