I think that sort of speaks to the essence of faith. When we are struggling in our lives at times it's important to be able to see some sort of "goal" or end in sight. The frightening reality is that if we could see clearly, much of what we would see is more struggle, heart ache and pain.

But when we wince beneath our burden; when the sweat mingles with our tears and causes our eyes to burn and our vision to blur - we may at times actually see angels.
