I am drained...

It seems we cannot find a place to stop and rest...we have been in special services in 3 different states in the last 3 weeks and next month we travel to yet another state for their convention...

Never before has this happened but this year at convention they wanted me to teach on leadership and gave me 3 hours! Then when that session was over and I was dripping in sweat they informed me that they had decided I would be their night speaker... It was like they wanted me to tell almost 43 years of experiences in one afternoon and night...

And besides that they reserved time for me in their minister's meeting...

and by saying that it doesn't mean Brother Alvear was just looking on they had him preaching and teaching also...

In the pastor's meeting there were probably over 150 or so from different regions...I tried to help them to learn to share responsibility and train others under them and not to get the BIG HEAD trying to be everything...

They thought it was so funny when I told them at one time I was THE PRESIDENT, vice, sec. and treasure...SS leader. young people's leader, ladies leader and whatever...I stood under a tree and told the people about Jesus so guess I was pastor, missionary and whatever...just a young single girl...but sharing and making room as God brought in people and later of course I married...that today all I had to do was smile...all those offices have leaders....and the work continues to grow...

At one time we only had one convention and a yearly ladies or young people's convention...now we have 9 or 10 conventions in different areas of Brazil besides all kinds of other conventions...

Our people knew from the convention in the south/central Brazil we would fly to Bahia but have to rent a car from the nearest city and drive by ourselves to the backlands to spend the week here...One of the pastors drove 30 hours to meet us up here and drive us and help us...and now he will drive 30 hours back and we will catch a plane on to the state where we live...

We are so blessed to have lovely people that are concerned about helping us as we grow older.

Not only that our son that lives in the jungle area is in another state making visits this week and God is moving in an awesome way. Together with one purpose many hands are working all over this vast land for Jesus...we are very thankful....
