I know a place where there's rest for the weary;
A place we can find peace of mind (peace of mind).

And leave cares of life far behind;

And here we are, sittin' in heavenly places once again!
Lifted so high above the world we're living in.
Angels all around us, as the Spirit of God surrounds us;
Nothing can compare with the love and joy we share,
When we're sittin' in heavenly places with the Lord.

And I know a place, very soon we shall go there;
A place all God's children call home!
Forever to share in the joy of His Presence,
Forever we'll sing round the throne.

And there we'll be, sittin' in heavenly places once again!
