Brother Esaias' words are excellent!

To the first century Judean the parable was a jab to the Judean high priest aristocracy. While the poor man Lazarus (a Greek transliteration of Eliezer) represents Eliezer servant of Abraham. The Gentile from Damascus should of received the inheritance from father Abraham. Instead Abraham's wife bares him a legitimate heir to his wealth and covenant. All the Judeans understood this, and saw that the Judean religious aristocrats were totally taken care of and never considered the Gentiles or the proselytes. Lazarus being raised from the dead wasn't only a miracle but symbolically represents Eliezer receiving the promise. The priesthood should of recognize Jesus, and accepted Him, but were blind. If they couldn't hear Moses (Torah) and the prophets (Tanakh) then how could they understand a resurrected Christ?

Even today, the Rabbinical Babylonian Talmudic Jewish Rabbis are blind to their Tanakh and cannot see the Christ.
