He had a follow up with the specialist yesterday and was told that he needs to come back in 3 months for more blood work and likely will need to begin chemo before the year ends.

He mentioned a while back that if it progressed far enough to require treatment, he would not take chemo. His choice is either healing or death, he does not want to go through chemo treatment.

Also pray that God would save his soul.

He was born and raised a Lutheran and has in the past couple years taken his elderly neighbors to Catholic Mass. He visited the church we attend once and said he enjoyed it, but that it was too much for him. He prefers the somber Lutheran services.

He loves original print books and any which are really old. A few months ago, he bought a NT Bible which was made in the early 1800s. He asked what my favorite books of the NT were or what I would recommend. I told him my favorite was John and Acts. He has been diligently reading a few chapters each day. He read through John and has almost completed Acts as well.

He goes by his initials, JW.
Praying for JW in Jesus name.
