Re: Sabbath and bible feasts
They are God's feasts, not "Jewish" feasts. They weren't given to "the Jews", they were given to Israel. When one doesn't understand even that most basic distinction, it shows that one doesn't even have a proper framework with which to even begin to understand the subject.
But most modern religionists prefer to observe holy days of pagan origin, steeped in heathen demon worship, rather than God's holy days - the only holidays of actual Divine origin.
It's like a son or daughter who refuses to celebrate their dad's birthday, but makes quite the fuss about celebrating President's Day or MLK day or the neighbour's birthday. "Why do I HAVE to celebrate Dad's birthday?" Most people read the Bible looking for all the things they don't "have" to do. Some however read the Bible looking for ways to know their Father better, desiring to just live Biblically as much as possible.
Two different religions, both claiming the same name. One with a "saviour" who came to set everyone free from God and His ways, and the other with a Saviour who came to set His people free from disobedience and vain worldly traditions and restore them to a place of sincere heart-based obedience.
