Borat was born out of Lie. the true intent was not given from the beginning. nevertheless I dismayed that there was not a check in spirit. seems that Pentecost was once again too flattered to smell rat??

Borat will always be pointed at as a reason not to be on television.
Borat is simply a reason not to be stupid.
Borat was an exercise in taking advantage of the trusting, the good natured and the naive.
Would it have looked differently if apostolics were running the cameras, editing the footage and packaging it for broadcast? I would certainly hope so.

If you really believe your gospel message you should want to be the one to prsent it to people YOURSELF and in the PROPER CONTEXT rather than punting and allowing so many peoples only view of it to be the one that Hollywood puts out.

I was at Fort Worth the year Hanby and Phillips came out and had that conference there. I remember Raymond Bishop who was the Chairman of the ALJC at that time saying "Someone asked Bro. Bishop why don't we go on television he said I don't know how to explain why all those folks keep getting up and going to the back."
