First service in Brazil

Wow...what a service last night.... lots of people, visitors and full of the presence of the Lord...After service gave out presents that we brought our people from the states. They were so tickled to get something new.

I so much wanted to take pictures of their smiles but I did not want them to think in any way I would use their poverty for a picture. They just hugged and kissed me...How blessed I am to be a missionary to such a sweet people.

They too of their deep poverty blessed me. One of the brothers came and hugged me and gave me a Hebrew New Testament he had bought somewhere and others gave me other gifts.

They asked me to speak (preach) and my text was, When the soul passes through a dark night...Many of our people are going through great trials and the altar was full of people weeping with assurance that our dark nights are only for a season.


I wish for one day I was a millionaire...by nightfall I would be poor once again...ha...
