The Last Apostolic Days, Pentecost 1945 - 1999
Does anyone have Brother Dugas' book The Last Apostolic Days, Pentecost 1945 - 1999?
Also would you mind giving me a synopsis?

Re: The Last Apostolic Days, Pentecost 1945 - 1999
I do and just recently read it. It had several "testimonies" from elders of Pentecost about "the old days". From the title I thought it would be somehow eschatological with some kind of predicted time frame, but that wasn't the case at all. Other parts of the book were written by Elder Dugas contending modernistic and worldly trends in the church and the ministry. I don't recall reading anything in the book that I couldnt say 'amen' to.

I have not read it, but it is probably more of that old defeatist attitude, that has infected many Apostolic churches.
"God is only going to save us four and no more."

Us four and no more saved? You mean like Jesus said?
Didn't Jesus say that a few would find entrance into eternal life?
Just wanted to know about Brother Dugas' book. It might be as you say, and it might be about the exact opposite. I'm picking up a copy, and I let you know if you are correct.

I wonder who the old timers are who contributed to the book. Sounds interesting to me.

After this I beheld, and, lo, a great multitude, which no man could number, of all nations, and kindreds, and people, and tongues, stood before the throne, and before the Lamb, clothed with white robes, and palms in their hands;
Revelation 7:9 KJV
4<great multitude which no man can number
I dunno....maybe some of those old timers had trouble counting to 4 so they said,"Ahhhhh heck with it! Git off my lawn you crazy kids!.....Except for you three....us 4 no more....cuz it's Bible bless God!"
