EGO??????????????????????

When a man preaches his own meeting what is he saying about himself? The last time I was in a setting like that was at Forth Worth and Mark Hanby was preaching. And yes he was good and if you didn't believe him you could have asked him. This just seems strange to me but if it works for them go for it. Saves money on the speakers. Branham preached his own meetings the name of his church was Branham Tabernacle they called him humble?

To have a meeting and invite preachers in from all over the country to hear the pastor sponsering the meeting just seems like ego to me? But I could be wrong when you are good folks need to hear you.

Why would you feel that way?

I don't see anything ethically wrong with it at all.

It just seems like come and hear me I am good????? Again I have not been around that element of Pentecost where men preach their own meetings. I know pastors who felt led to preach revivals in their own churches but they were not inviting preachers from all over the country to come and hear them?
Come and hear me just seems??????????????????

When my wife and I first got married we lived in Jacksonville, Fl. I used to listen to a local prophet who had a revival center type church who was on the radio daily. He used to say "I will be walking the floor tonight with the microphone in my hand I will be prophecying and laying my hands on the sick, it will be one of the most annointed services you will ever be in." Then he would play a segment of a service on the program it would go something like this. I was in the service last night and Bro. Dobbs called me out and prayed for me. He would stop them WHO called you out? WHO laid their hands on you? YOU did Bro. Dobbs!!!!! I think when he stepped to the stage the band began to play "How Great Thou Art."

Epley apparently you are just jealous because no one would come hear you preach your own meeting.. however with it in its 20th year... I think that says something for BOTT that you lack... Dont knock it till you try it! AM is very anointed and so is every service held at BOTT. My respect level for you fell about 10 levels with this thread... Jealousy reeks here!
