I am mad

That is something few people ever see in fact most that know me will be surprised by this expression coming from me. Today I took a walk through a cemetery looking for sister Petrolina’s unmarked grave… I went up and down the rows…most tombs had some kind of god watching over the dead loved one…some had candles burning, others cups of water for the thirsty spirits that roam through the graveyard…My heart pained me so bad I reached in my pocket for a baby aspirin when I realized it was not a normal pain…I was hurting for those who died in idolatry...I am mad at the devil because he has blinded the eyes of God’s people and the church as a whole majors in minors and minors in majors.
While the churches majors in refinery, tea parties, and fashions the world goes at an unbelievable pace toward hell…are we not called to put up road blocks to try to detour the souls of men?
Are we guilty of straightening pictures in burning houses?
What is it we really love?
I know I am quite vocal about this matter…However 40 years on the mission field are my credentials…I know about hunger, thirst and suffering…Many times I have wondered where I would sleep, was I even safe and many other things.
A pioneer missionary is not the easiest thing in the world and years take its toll on my body…
Yet blood still runs through my veins and I believe with all my heart that it is the job of the church to evangelize the world.
The church is guilty of doing a lot of things Jesus never told us to do…
When was the last time you wept over your city?
I wish tonight we would declare war on the enemy of the church…my dear good friend too many, far too many have declared war on the church across town while the devil winks at our foolishness and sweeps the souls of men away.
I weep… and I am mad at my enemy the devil.
