Informed by Southern rock and garage rock, the three Followill brothers were raised by a traveling preacher of the United Pentecostal Church. Their debut, Youth and Young Manhood, with its garage-meets-post punk stylings, planted them on the indie rock map, and they've continued their underground success. Oh, I liked the area very much! But going where the Lord leads is not always synonymous with going where we like it. I'd have stayed in CA if my flesh had it's way. lol
