Sadly, you're right.
For some Apostolic pastors and preachers, having a beard a holiness issue.
....or maybe it's just a control issue.

Ya know, for some it may be a control issue, but I truley believe that for most it is a holiness issue. Not saying its right. But just saying it is usually just "matter of fact". Your not gonna preach from the pulpit of this church with all that on. Just like your not gonna be the Pope and walk around in jeans and t-shirt.
and I'll tell ya another dirty little secret too but you can't tell I told ya !
some pastors will tell you "I don't neccesarily agree with it, but the org and the big picture is more important than this issue, so I agree and sign the dotted line and get my little card"
