Earrings
I have a question for all those that are okay with body and facial piercings.
I was reading an interesting discussion on earrings in a trinitarian Pentecostal Yahoo group.
ALL of them stated that if a woman gave the message from the pulpit and had on earrings, they would be okay with that. but if a man preached with earrings on, they would oppose it. some even said they would walk out.
Don't you think there is a double standard here ???

God didn't create us with earrings, all they work to do is draw attention to ourselves rather than the Spirit of Christ within us.
Gotta run to take the kids to the Library, they have a few overdue books.

True, with one difference.
Clothes cover our nakedness, earrings are an unnecessary adornment.

Ron, did you think this through? God didn't create us with a lot of things...in fact the only thing we had was a garden and even that was not ours.
BTW ear rings draw no more attention to our selves than glasses do...maybe we should make it a sin to wear glasses and force everyone to get contacts?
