Acts of Love
I would like to know what all acts of LOVE you can think of and then a list of the opposite.
Like love in action:
Feeding the hungry
giving to the poor
calling on a sick friend
visiting someone in prison
praying for a friend
visiting a friend in the hospital
taking food for a funeral
giving a gift
cleaning someone's house or car
Opposite of love in action:
gossip
sowing discord
lying
stealing
fighting

Re: Acts of Love
Love or not?
**********
Love
Giving
Not
Giving -with great fanfare!
**********************
Love
Forgiving
Not
Forgiving -with strings attached
**********************
Love
Being humble
Not
Being a million times more humble than you!
*********************
Love
Telling your wife (or husband) how beautiful she is
Not
Telling your wife (or husband) how beautiful she used to be
**********************
Love
Forgiving and forgetting past wrongs
Not
Bringing said 'wrongs' up at the right strategic times for the purpose of leverage
**********************
Love
Jesus saving me
Not
Man saying "Only if you do x, y, and z"

* Doing unto others as you want them to do to you
* Loving despite another's perceived faults
Negatives
* Vengeance on all those who have wronged you
* Treating others like they treat you
* Hating those who aren't as perfect as you

Good. I understand it takes 5 positives to offset one negative.

That could be true. I know it takes so much more time and effort to rebuild trust than it takes to break trust.
