not even the chinese and the japanese are stupid enough to buy our paper anymore ,so they will just print it and hope for the best. maybe if we owe the world enough they wont dare to bomb us? riiiight!
This is a perverse answer and I have never heard one single person say this... but....
Owing China a lot of money might not be a bad thing. Bare with me please.
Lets just say we owe China 10 Trillion Dollars. All the sudden, they have a vested interest in keeping America strong economically because if we fall, they wont get their money back.
They will think twice about starting a war with us, because if they do, we can first kick their tails, then second not pay them a thin dime.
If they call us on the debt and we refuse to pay up, their economy would collapse.
Now I know that is a streatch but it is worht considering.
