We flew out of Denver Colorado last night on flight 465 United and flew back to Oakland. While on board they showed a video the whole flight of NBC shows. We had our own videos for the kids so we didn't use their head phone system. BBBBUUUUTTTTT they showed the first episode of Desperate Housewives and the first screen shots was of a woman holding a gun to her head and then lying on the floor in a pool of blood.
then there were some sexual situations... and very suggetive video of things I won't mention here. (For all of you Desperate Housewives People out there you need some desperate spiritual help)
I spoke to the flight attendant but she was unhelpful... so I emailed and called the FCC today and placed a complaint and also called United!!!
I was mad!! How they could show that type of material on a commercial flight on multiple screens!!!

Was I wrong on this?????
I don't feel I am wrong at all...
No you aren't wrong. There were , I'm sure young children on this flight as well! If no one speaks up then, they will continue to do such things. I would have been highly upset to see scenes as you described.

Pretty detailed description for one finding this offensive
I am glad, however, that you made the complaint!
I totally agree with you! I don't think they should show adult material on a flight with children. Adults can make a choice to watch or not watch, but children will watch whatever is on, regardless.
My children are 13 and 15 and there are programs I won't allow them to watch even now.

Either all ya'll critics have never flown commercial or ya'll are just being way too tough on Bro. Randy... unless you fly with your eyes closed 100% of the flight you cannot avoid the view.
Bro. Didn't have any control of what was on..we had our own Dvd's for the kids... .... but on about 20 or so screens (one for every three rows) in front of us it was impossible not to see especially for the boys.. we told them to watch their own little screens..we brought with us..

Now all ya'll give my brother a break!
this is true and with our 13 yr old sitting a few seats away from us.. I was hoping he was too ingrossed with his PSP to notice..
