Apostolic is defined on AFF as:
- There is One God. This one God reveals Himself distinctly as Father, Son and Holy Ghost.
- The Son is God himself in a human form or "God manifested in the flesh" (1Tim 3:16)
- Every sinner must repent of their sins.
- That Jesus name baptism is the only biblical mode of water baptism.
- That the Holy Ghost is for today and is received by faith with the initial evidence of speaking in tongues.
- The saint will go on to strive to live a holy life, pleasing to God.

Absoluely not.....Jesus shedding his blood gives us the opportunity to be saved.

I agree!
I would also say that Acts 2:38 does give instruction on attaining salvation.

Re: Does Acts 2:38 save us?
Are the words in the Bible the "Word of God?"
Do these words speak Spirit and life to us?
Does the Word of God have any power to save us?

If you are a traditional Apostolic, I guarantee that we have different interpretations of that scripture, which is why I don't attend Apostolic churches any more.
Acts 2:38 contains two commands and a Promise.
Faith without repentance is vain.
Baptism in and by itself doesn't save any one-- it's the condition of the heart of the believer who gets baptized that demonstrates their salvation.
The Holy Spirit is promised to those who repent and are baptized, but the first Italian in the Bible to be saved received the Holy Spirit before he was baptized.
GOD is Sovereign and no one has a corner on His Kingdom!
