2 Corinthians 3:14-15--But their minds were blinded: for until this day remaineth the same vail untaken away in the reading of the old testament; which vail is done away in Christ. 15--But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.
We have a pure, true and Holy God who gave to us in the beginning ALL that we would ever need to carry us through to the end. THE TEN COMMANDMENTS. These He wrote with HIS OWN HAND and told us to meditate on them day and night, to never deviate from them. (
Joshua 1:7,
Joshua 23:6)
God also warned us to test all spirits and that not all spirits come from God. God does not stop us from believing falsely of from sinning against Him. We are expected to question anyone or anything that differs from His commandments (Law of Moses)
Some of the things that seem contrary to God's commandments in the old testament are probably NOT His doings. He warned of the devils and demons that would try to lead us astray or pose as Him.
THIS IS THE VEIL over the Old Testament. This veil was removed when God came forth Himself to show who He really is, how He is and what He is--LOVE,TRUTH, and WISDOM. (
Matthew 27:51-53,
Mark 15:38) He PROVED that He alone is God. He showed us an example of WHO He is by the way He lived and taught among us.
The devils and demons are the ones He sought to hide His identity from--not mankind.
