Especially to 'bug' Bro. Epley!

To the Esteemed Elder Epley,

Just starting a thread to give you a hard time because I know you like Pappadeaux!

Today was my Anniversary and my wife - who is NOT a seafood lover - wanted to go to Pappadeaux. Knowing that you like the place so much I felt 'led' to tell you that I enjoyed a sampling of the following (we had three others with us);
  • Shrimp & Oyster Fondeau
  • Baked Oysters Trio (I'm not an oyster fan but these three types of baked oysters were fantastic!)
  • Softshell Crab as a main course.

And then, to finish it all off, I got their 'only three times a year' dessert with bananas, caramel, chocolate surrounding a huge crepe filled with Hagen-Daaz ice cream.

It was fantastic.

Sweet dreams, Elder!

Since I've been known to tease SE myself from time to time, and you're onto seafood, I thought I might join with you and give him a visual of the seafood feast Felicity and I had while vacationing in NB recently.

We ate at L'Aboiteau Fish Market and Seafood Paradise in Cap Pele, NB on a Wednesday with Felicity's parents. We ordered a platter that included clams, scallops, haddock, and fries. We ate that and then ordered another order of scallops.

On Saturday we were on our way to New Glasgow, NS for service on Sunday, so we went through Cap Pele and enjoyed another platter. On the way back to NB on Sunday we just had to go that direction (out of our way) again so we could enjoy some more clams and scallops.

If you're ever in that area check it out! Their seafood is simply delicious. No wonder I gained five pounds on vacation!

Steadfast,

I don't eat Seafood (except for shrimp and crab cakes) but Pappadeaux is such good food I go there anyway for their steak and chicken.

That dessert sounds amazing. I love any dessert that combines bananas with chocolate. Those are two of my favorite things.

Oh my! My!

I don't see a lot of self denial in any of these posts and pictures. The flesh is being pampered.

I confess! I sinned during our vacation to New Brunswick. But having confessed my sin, God is faithful and just to forgive me my sin. Honestly though, it had been so long since I had eaten deep-fried clams, it felt so-o-o good pampering my flesh!

It's worth it.

I love fried clams... when they're done right. I don't love them 'the next day', though...

Again... it's worth it.
