Who sinned more: King David or Saul?

Who sinned more: King David or Saul?

It's not who sins the most but who is truly repentant............

It appears that Saul was not truly repentant and David was.

Even though David repented there were still grave consequences for his sin.

Coop, this is a subtle form of legalism.

I do not get that remark. I am not going down the road of legalism on the thread.

I am talking about grace. God grace and sin.

Those who seem to no about Gods grace and love to preach about it , are the Davids among us.

I love the way God never left David inspite of his sins. David found grace.

When you ask to stack up one's sin's against another man's sin it can lead to a legalistic view. Remember the pharisee and the tax collector.

David was human and not perfect.

If David was alive today and we new him.....he would be bad mouthed here at AFF.

Just like some have spoke of other fallen preachers.

David was guilty of murder, adultery and was the blame for 70,000 men killed because he numbered the army after God said not to?

If David was a card toten UPCI Pastor he would be mocked for his insight of grace.

perhaps the better question is, who had a repentant heart towards God for their sins???

its sin whether you tell a "little" lie or kill someone.... and you have sin in your life whether it's one sin or one hundred thousand sins.... prioritizing the "baddest" of sins or quantity of sins is quite fruitless imo.... sin is sin....
