Does UPC still sing this????
When I was a youth, we always sang the "Pentecostal Conqueror" song at rallies and revivals. We even had to march to it at times. Does anyone still sing this song? I haven't heard it in years!!!

I have heard it and even sang along with it years ago. When the Youth Division left the "Pentecostal Conquerors" moniker behind I think this song got left with it. (Thank the good Lord in heaven!)

We are the Pentecostal Conquerors,
Each day we're gaining; new heights attaining,
We are the Pentecostal Conquerors
We'll triumph over every foe.
It's not by might, nor yet by power,
But by His Spirit as we go.
Can anyone fill in these other two lines? I think the rest is right, or close to it. Where's Barb when you need her????? I can hear this melody running through my head, and it probably won't go away.

Nope. It was kind of a "rally the troops" kind of song that we hated but knew some older person was gonna insist on singing at every Youth Rally.

I remember being so excited when I turned twelve, because I was finally allowed to stand and sing along. The "youth" age used to be 12 through 35. How weird is that?
