Dispensationalism isn't doing well these days.

I've been having individuals getting in contact with me who I haven't spoken with in years. All wanting to discuss what I believe concerning eschatology. These individuals I remembered being in Bible studies, some sitting in earshot of the outdoor Bible studies. Some of these people I couldn't believe the lengths they went to to find me. But, what other thing they have in common with each other, is not only eschatology of Dispensationalism. They all have been affected by what is going on over in the Middle East. One couple contacted me who were sitting having lunch when they overheard me teaching in a park. This was in 2005. They attend one of the larger churches in our area. They went back to the Bible to search it out concerning the Middle East conflict. They both agreed that they were seeing what I was speaking about all those years ago. I found this video on YouTube, and I'm pretty pleased that this is happening across the board. Not only here in South Florida. Others are starting to reexamine what they were "told" concerning Israel and the Bible.

Gaza is a wakeup call for some while others persist in blind denial.
How quickly people will turn on you if you even hint at genocide.

Re: Dispensationalism isn't doing well these days.

The United States is a country which number one doesn't like bullies. We have the proclivity to root for the underdog. There was a time we all believed and saw Israel as the shivering puppy huddled in a corner. Surrounded by Islamic wolves poised to kill the defenseless pup. That has all changed, because Israel was never defenseless, and never a pup. Israel has always been backed by Uncle Sam with his brass knuckles. Ready to beat anyone into a bloody mudhole, who would dare even look cross eyed at his girlfriend sitting at the bar. We live in a whole different world where information is too accessible. People are looking to hear and see the facts. The whole idea that God's true focus is on a country which causes such harm not only to itself, but those who dare to help it. Is anti-biblical. Jesus Christ is to be obeyed, and followed. If you don't obey Jesus Christ, and fall before Him. You are none of His. You are NOT His child. He is NOT your Father. Modern Israel and the Extremists Settlers (who are just as bad as Islamic Jihadis) hate Jesus Christ. So, please tell me how they're the apple of God's eye, without repentance? How are they the apple of God's eye, when they cry crucify Him? Away with Him? Modern Israel is not the Israel of the Bible, period. They are found NOWHERE in the scripture. Benjamin Netanyahu is found NOWHERE in the Bible. Lindsey Graham stood speaking to a room full of Christians telling them that if America ever stops supporting Modern Zionist Israel, that GOD will withdraw support of the United States? Blasphemy! I've heard preachers say that same comment for years. It is blasphemous. Forgive them because they know not what they do. Yet, the ONLY time God would withdraw, is when we crucify Him and lay Him to an open shame. We when transgress His Law.

Not because we point the finger at a rogue state who kills at will under the protection of her enabler. That enabler isn't the Lord Jesus Christ. But the United States government.

Also, in Mormonism it is taught that In 1855, Brigham Young wrote that "when the Constitution of the United States hangs, as it were, upon a single thread, they will have to call for the 'Mormon' Elders to save it from utter destruction; and they will step forth and do it." Brigham Young didn't say as much as boo devil boo, about a modern Israel. The Mormons believe they are the True Israel of God. So, any Mormon coming up to you spouting defense of Israel remind them of what Brigham Young had to say.

Dispensationalism has bumped its head, and like all false doctrines its coming of age. It isn't aging well.

Re: Dispensationalism isn't doing well these days.

The Heritage Foundation (the "pro-christian, pro-American, pro-conservative think tank" partially founded by Coors beer, and one of whose Founders bankrolled Planned Parenthood) published a document called "Project Esther" last year. It essentially calls for the nation to bully "antisemitism" out of existence by denying social media outlets, bank accounts, business activities, political speech, etc to anyone who criticizes Zionism and Israel. It specifically identifies opposition to Zionism as support for Hamas terrorism (a proscribed terrorist organization). So basically if the Heritage Foundation has its way, you will be cut off from your own bank accounts and become a non-person and possibly sent to Gitmo for supporting a foreign terrorist organisation simply because you oppose Zionism or have some criticisms of Israel or its policies.

The document also recognises the possibility of its proposed policies backfiring by sparking a backlash since people will perceive such policies as proof that Zionists rule the US government for the benefit of Israel and Zionism and not for the benefit of the American people. Gee, imagine that? Anyway, it contains all sorts of schemes and plans to "mitigate" such "negative effects" (ie convince people that their policies are not violations of the First Amendment and other Constitutional protections, etc).

You can read the paper here: ---> https://www.heritage.org/progressivi...t-antisemitism

Esaias,

You mentioned the heritage foundation. What do you think of project 2025, and that they have completed about 47% of their agenda?
